DERMAL FILLERS

Our Dermal Filler treatments at Beauty Shots are carried out by medical professional. It involves a fine needle under the skin, administering product to plump, restore volume and fill out lines. The product is a gel like substance made from hyaluronic acid, a sugar that is naturally found in the body. Fillers are not permanent and can be easily removed with a product called hyaluronidase. All products used at Beauty Shots are high quality and CE registered.

Navina is able to treat a range of areas on the face with dermal filler with lip filler being her speciality. Navina has successful completed many masterclasses to be able to treat different lips shapes and styles for each clients desired outcome.

Treatable Areas

The areas we treat with dermal fillers and what for:

Lip Filler - Restore loss of volume, to add volume and shape.
Marionette Lines - Lift the corner of the mouth and smooths out lines
Nasolobial Folds - (Nose to mouth) To smooth out the smile lines.
Jawlines - To add definition and structure. Improve jowl area.
Cheek Filler - To lift the cheek, add volume and improve the lower face.
Chin Filler - To add definition and shape. This will also balance the side profile.
Non Surgical Rhinoplasty - To straighten the nose or/and lift the tip of the nose.

Dermal fillers can last 4-12 months depending on the filler and lifestyle choices

Pre-Treatment Advice

We prefer the client to attend appointments make up free to reduce the risk of infection. However this is not a necessity. The areas is fully cleaned and made sterile prior to treatment
For optimal results and to minimise the chances of bleeding and bruising at the injection site, avoid all blood thinning medication and supplements one week before your appointment. These include - Ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin E, and john warts. Please speak to us before stopping these and consult your GP
If you have suffered from cold sores or have an active cold sore please inform us prior to treatment.
Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior treatment to avoid extra bruising
You may take arnica tablets prior to the treatment to minimise bruising risk. These can be found in most supermarkets and health stores.

Aftercare Advice

Dermal fillers can take 2 weeks to settle, so we advise you to wait the two weeks to see the final results.
You may experience swelling which tends to get worse over the first 24 hours and then settles after the following 72 hours. You can use a cold compress to reduce the swelling by applying this for 15 minutes each hour. You can also sleep face up and slightly elevated.
You also may bruise after this treatment, this is why we advise taking arnica tablets
No strenuous exercise for 24 hours post-treatment.
No sunbeds, steam rooms and swimming pools post treatment for 48 hours
No touching the treated area, no make up or products for 12 hours post treatment unless advised to. This is to reduce the risk of infection.
No alcohol or smoking for 24 hours.
Wait at least 2 weeks before having any facial or laser treatments.
